Why is it an extra $25 to pick up in the afternoon time slot? The $25 charge is only for dogs picking up in our afternoon slot between 4:30PM-5:30PM. If you are picking up in the morning slot 7:30AM-8:45AM there is NO $25 charge. This charge does NOT apply to cats or daycare dogs. Our hours have remained the same, the only change with HOURS is we ask if you’re picking up in the afternoon you come between 4:30PM-5:30PM to get our valued staff home on time to their families. Lots of questions in regard to our reasoning behind this new charge. I will list a few below; •We charge per night and not per day. When picking up in the afternoon slot of 4:30PM-5:30PM, we have fed them breakfast, cleaned their room, meds if any, lunch feeding if any, let them out for 4/5 of their 15 minute minimum playtimes, etc. •Doing the above requires more staff members to be here. We value the care and safety of all pets and we want to keep our valued trained staff here for your pets. •We were one of the select few facilities to not charge an extra fee for staying through the day. We found other facilities charge for days, 1/2 days, etc. •Think of it like a hotel. Hotels let you check in usually after 3PM and then check out by 11AM. As always, we appreciate all of you and couldn’t be where we are today without your loyalty! If there are any other questions please reach out in the comments, email, or by phone and we’ll be happy to answer. Camp Critter Country
